Here before long, the people who make up the community of faith, here in The 318 Fellowship will seek to fulfill one of our mission statements by taking a stab at writing one of our blogs. We desire to pour into others what the Lord has been pouring into us, not because we're smarter or better but because just like you, the reader, we have a chance and are called to share with others what the Lord is doing in our lives.
This impactful ministry will do three things...
It will remind us all that God is at work. No matter what is going on around us in the world, our nation, our state, or our city, God desires to speak to each of us because He loves us and wants to be engaged in our lives. Our Creator is active and engaged. He wants us or know His will and He wants to be involved in our life, so much so, that He gave us His Word, the Ability to Pray, and the Holy Spirit to guide our steps.
It will introduce the reader to people just like them. People who make up our church who are in a journey. None of us are perfect but we want to be. None of us have all the answers but we're searching. And with each blog, we get a chance to show the world that God loves us and is involved in our personal lives and can be in yours too. Not a single writer is a professional blogger but every writer is someone who hungers to be all that God wants the to be.
And each blog will serve as an invitation. An invitation to join our community of faith and also an invitation to join the most unbelievable family ever known to man: God's family. Yes!, we hope and pray that if you're searching for a place to belong, these blogs will roll out the carpet. And Yes! if you've spent a lifetime trying everything you can get your hands on, looking for peace and purpose and have come up blank - try Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
